My sophomore year in college, I took a road trip to College Station, Texas. All of my friends were going and I didn’t want to be left out. It was the second year of a big conference, and students from universities all over the state would be attending the event. I remember wanting to attend so bad that I slept on a friends floor the night before the event. I was blown away by the sheer size of A&M’s campus. The next day I saw speakers, listened to panel discussions, and had an incredible time. We left A&M feeling like we could conquer the world.

A week ago I received an invitation to speak at that same conference. Even funnier, the day after getting the invite I had lunch with a colleague and told him about this exciting opportunity. I started off by telling him how we slept on the floor because we couldn’t afford a hotel room. He paused, smiled and said, “You know I’m one of the people that created that event”.

Now it’s my turn. It’s my turn to empower young minds. It’s my turn to give back all that God has given me, so that some young person will be the next great thing … speaker, president,….360 Degrees of Life.
